Sustainable Building is a way of building that reduces or eliminates the impact of a structure and it's function on our environment. Reducing energy consumption, waste output, raw material use, and potable water consumption are all goals of sustainable building design/construction. If we can consciously take into consideration the principles living sustainably as we build our dwellings, we can greatly influence the health of our planet.
